New Pension Rates

Effective from 20 September 2011 Age Pension Rates have increased as follows:

Payment adjustments and reviews

From time to time, your Age Pension payment is reviewed. If you are getting Age Pension, the amount you receive may be adjusted because you or your partner's circumstances change. This may include a change in your income, investments, moving house or separating from your partner.

Please remember that we need to know when any changes happen to your circumstances so we can keep your records with Centrelink up-to-date. How can Age Pension Solutions assist you?

It is very important for you to contact Age Pension Solutions and provide any changes so we can inform Centrelink on your behalf so you don’t have to worry about informing Centrelink yourself.

New Income and Asset Test Thresholds

Below are tables that show the new lower and higher thresholds for income and assets.

Income Stream Letters

In August, review letters were sent to most members receiving a Centrelink payment (except for those on Health Care Cards only), if you or your partner have allocated and/or market-linked income streams.

Do I have to provide a new income stream schedule?

No. You do not have to provide Age Pension Solutions with a new income stream schedule. The letter will advise you what information is required (end of June balance and income for 2011/2012). Once you have the information, please call us so we can inform Centrelink. If you have trouble locating the information, please give us a call so we can assist.

How long do I have to return the review?

If you have a Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) you should return the review by 31 December of the current year. If you do not return the review by 31 December your payment may be stopped.

All you have to do is either send us the completed form or call one of our team and we will complete your form and hand deliver to Centrelink. We will scan a copy to our records to ensure information is safe and secure.
